The Thermal Imaging Advantage

Certified Residential Thermographer
Certified Residential Thermographer
How does it help your inspection?
As one of the areas few certified residential thermographers, I'm able to provide you with a superior home inspection and reveal the hidden issues you want to know about. On every home inspection, I use thermal imaging to locate problematic issues such as; roof leaks, plumbing leaks, electrical panel defects, and hidden moisture in finished livable space.

When using thermal imaging correctly problematic areas can be revealed during a home inspection. Areas that may otherwise be easily overlooked by others now may be found. This wonderful technology not only makes me a superior inspector, it gives you greater peace of mind to move forward.

When do I use thermal on your inspection?
I use thermal throughout my inspection process however, most of my attention is focused on plumbing leaks and hidden moisture. Every so often there are head-scratching moments during a home inspection. Sometimes what I see visually just doesn't add up. That's where thermal imaging technology takes the lead. Being able to see more than a simple stain or watermark can help piece together the puzzle. With thermal imaging, I'm able to show my clients exactly where the problem is.
Why I use it on your inspection!
There's an old phrase which is valued highly in the home inspection industry: a picture says a thousand words. Using thermal imaging to help convey to my clients what, where, or why a problem exists is beneficial on many accounts. Narratives in your inspection report can only express so much but multiple photos combined with those narratives can greatly help your understanding of an issue or defect found during your home inspection.

Helping pinpoint the problem

Thermal images are amazing when needing to know where the problem lies. When the conditions are right and a thermal anomaly is present I love providing these images as a courtesy to my clients to help express and convey my findings.
