How does it helps your inspection?

Imagine being able to see through the walls of a home. While we don’t quite have x-ray vision yet, we do have the next best thing: infrared vision, via a state-of-the-art thermal imaging cameras. Being able to see areas of the home that have hot and cool spots helps inspectors identify problematic conditions. A few examples would be; moisture intrusion, under preforming insulation, poor seals/drafts, the functionality of systems.

When do I use it on your inspection?
Every so often there is a head-scratching moment during a home inspection. Sometimes what I see visually just doesn't add up. That's where infrared technology helps. Being able to see more than the naked eye can help piece together the puzzle. With this technology, I'm able to show my clients exactly where the problem is.
Why I use it on your inspection!
There's an old phrase which is valued highly in the home inspection industry: a picture says a thousand words. Using infrared imaging to help convey to my clients what, where, or why a problem exists is beneficial on many accounts. Narratives in your inspection report can only express so much but multiple photos combined with those narratives can greatly help your understanding of an issue or defect found during your home inspection.
